Qualified and Experienced EAL Specialist

Indu is a qualified tutor of Teaching in English in Multilingual Classrooms (TEMC -formerly known as TESMC) and How Language Works (HLW).  She has also developed her own EAL training in which she utilises research based strategies which support effective language learning within the context of any given discipline. Indu has always taught multilingual students in multicultural schools in the UK and internationally.  She has also led EAL and English Departments as well as overseeing whole school strategies to support language acquisition across the curriculum.

Experienced Leader and Teacher Trainer

Indu has worked in education for over 25 years; she is Masters qualified and holds an NPQH. She has held a multitude of leadership roles in Secondary School, including Head of Senior School. She has also consulted and trained widely; worked at School Group and university level with trainee teachers. She therefore understands the challenges faced at every level of school from the chalkface to Senior Leadership, as well what it takes to effect change and propel a school forward.
